Arousr is a little bit different from your average cam site. In fact, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that it’s one of the most interesting experiences I’ve had in a long time. The site is meant to be a completely mobile experience. Using your smartphone, you get to text, talk and video chat with hot girls.

I used an iPhone to review Arousr, so Android users may have a different experience. Whichever smartphone you use, calling, texting or using video chat all require credits. Okay, so my math sucks, but my rough estimate is that 1 credit is worth about 7 cents. So it's pretty affordable to text a girl - most charge 10 credits per text. It’s more the phone calls and video chats that are going to cost you. Phoning them is about 30 credits per minute, and going on video is about 100 credits per minute. So you’ll have to pace yourself. And these are the only options available, as there is no free chat.

When you select Chat Now, your phone’s text messaging app will open with the number of the girl you intend to text. Then you just start sending messages. It’s that simple. If you choose the Phone Sex option, a window will pop up asking if you’d like to receive a call from her. If you select “yes,” it only takes a few minutes for her to call you. Finally, Video Call button is like FaceTime and it works the same - you wait for them to call you.

One thing you might want to keep in mind is that long-distance charges may apply. Sure, you’re buying credits for all the chatting and phone sex, but it’s using your phone’s service provider to connect everything, so it depends on where you’re calling from.
